Homemade Ranch Dressing

Ranch dressing is a staple southern pantry item and making your own is super simple with my Homemade Ranch Dressing. Two ingredients, a few herbs and you have fresh dressing or dip to enjoy! There isn’t much else to say… so let’s get stirring and dipping!

Why Make Homemade Ranch Dressing

Yes, you can buy ranch dressing at the grocery store but I read label after label at the grocery the other day and could not find one I wanted to eat. They were loaded with seed oils, sugars, gums, yeast, acids and natural flavors… even the organic ones! The only brand I have ever found that I have purchased myself is Primal Kitchen.

So, when my son had some friends coming to swim for his birthday and I wanted to do a veggie tray… I decided to make my own ranch. There are many different versions of ranch dressing. Some have buttermilk and some use lemon juice, but I decided to get the creaminess and tangyness from one simple ingredient I had on hand: sour cream.

So for 5 minutes and a few pantry staples.. you can make your own homemade ranch dressing too!
