4 Ingredient Fudge
I love fudge. I am a southern girl so I grew up eating my mama’s fudge from a young age. I am pretty sure her recipe was from a sweet older woman in our church named Ida Mae… Ida Mae sounds like she would make good fudge. Every Christmas when my mama makes the fudge… in Indulge. But it is just that, an indulgence.
So imagine how happy I was when I accidentally came up with this recipe. I was trying to make muddy buddies as a very special treat and I over melted the ingredients and decided to make them into a fudge instead. And I am so glad I did! My kids and I devoured the whole pan in less than 24 hours.
Why Make My Fudge?
- It is easy
- It is healthier than traditional fudge
- It is gluten free
- It can be made dairy free
- Because who doesn’t like chocolate?
What You Need To Make 4 Ingredient Fudge
- Chocolate Chips– I like dairy free chocolate chips. You can pick semi sweet chocolate or dark chocolate depending on how sweet you like your fudge.
- Creamy Almond Butter– Make sure to buy a brand that doesn’t have added sugar.
- Grass Fed Butter like Kerrygold
- Vanilla Extract
How To Make 4 Ingredient Fudge
It could not be any easier to make this fudge. I do it in the microwave but you can also do it over a double broiler on the stove.
- Add chocolate chips, almond butter and butter to a microwave safe bowl. Microwave 1 minute. Stir all together. It should be smooth, but if it isn’t, microwave 15 seconds at a time until melted, thick and smooth. Add vanilla and stir.
- Line an 8×8 pan with parchment paper. Scoop fudge into pan. Wet your fingers or a spatula and use them to flatten out and smooth the fudge evenly.
- Refrigerate for 30 minutes. Cut into 16 squares. Store in the fridge.
If you make the fudge I would be so honored if you would rate the recipe, leave a comment and share it with your friends!
